Our Ministries
At River of Life, we believe that faith is best lived out in community. Our ministries exist to make sure that every person — no matter their age, background, or season of life — has a place to belong, grow, and be poured into. Whether you are a child taking your first steps in faith, a young adult navigating life's big questions, or someone looking to make a real difference in the city of Bakersfield, there is a ministry here for you. We are not just a Sunday morning church. We are a family that does life together all week long.

A brotherhood built on faith, accountability, and purpose — a space where men are encouraged to grow spiritually, lead their families well, and support one another in everyday life.

A warm and uplifting community for women to connect, be refreshed, and grow deeper in their faith alongside other women who understand the unique joys and challenges of this season of life.

(Ages 5–17) A fun, engaging, and age-appropriate environment where kids and teenagers can discover the Bible, ask big questions, and build a faith foundation that will carry them through life.

(Ages 12–17) A high-energy, spirit-filled community where teenagers can be themselves, build real friendships, and encounter God in a way that is relevant to where they are right now.

(Singles, Ages 18 and up) Designed for young adults in that exciting — and sometimes uncertain — chapter between youth and "whatever comes next." Hyphen is a place to find community, direction, and a deeper walk with God.
